We partner with rainforest peoples in Panama to cultivate underused parcels of land with high value tree species. As stewards of much of the world's rainforests, the rural poor play an important role in the preservation of these precious resources. Ensuring that they can profit sustainably from the forests with which they are entrusted is a crucial step in reducing tropical deforestation.
